Sunlight on your skin is an installation made up of three crocheted works, photographic backdrops, and mirrors. From the outside, the colorful organic shapes draw the viewer in. Once inside the enclosure, the viewer finds themself in a calm, softly lit forest. The shadows created as light comes through the holes of the crochet piece mirror the lighting in photographic backdrops of trees and meadows that cover the walls. This installation can hold about 5 people at a time and aims to give the viewer an intimate moment with the artwork where they are able to take in the experience without the feeling of being watched by a crowd.
